Avatar movies have a reputation for being quite lengthy, which may have you wondering whether Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is the same. While you can complete the game in a few hours, it provides enough content to have you playing for much longer.
If you focus on the main story, you can see the credits roll in about 15-20 hours, maybe even less if you’re good at gameplay and rush through the content. However, we’re dealing with an open-world game with gorgeous environments to explore, so you can easily double that time.
How long to complete Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
There are 31 main missions, but don’t let that number intimidate you. Most missions are completed relatively quickly, especially at the beginning when the game is mostly introducing you to its mechanics and story.
You aren’t limited to main quests, and there are plenty of side quests to keep you entertained. I recommend you complete these side quests, as they can help you acquire resources for crafting in addition to expanding on the narrative.
If you’re a completionist, you can also add a few more hours to your playthrough by unlocking all the achievements. Many of them are connected to the main quests, but there are a few collectibles that’ll keep you occupied including the Doll Collector, Data Retriever, A Good Listener, Story Guardian, and Father and Son in the Stars.
Frontiers of Pandora has a world that’ll amuse both Avatar fans and newbies to the franchise. Take your time with it, drink in the beauty, and learn more about what it means to be a Na’vi.
