Fire builds in Elden Ring are quite strong. Whether it’s imbued fire via a weapon or a straight-up spell, this element can get the job done. In any case, if you want to strengthen a build that utilizes fire damage in Elden Ring, you should see how to get the Flame, Grant Me Strength Incantation.
How to get Flame, Grant Me Strength in Elden Ring
This spell/incantation can be found at Fort Gael in the Caelid region. It’s near the border where Limgrave and Caelid meet, and directly south of the Rotview Balcony Site of Grace you see when entering from the west.
If you follow the path down, you’ll pass by the Forsaken Ruins, followed by lots of Radahn Soldiers. They’ll be stationed in the areas leading up the Fort Gael. The enemies are armed with typical human sword weapons while there is a heavy archer in the distance.
You can manage to skip most of these enemies by running with Torrent. Depending on what level your character is, you can take some damage before being knocked off your horse.
Once you make it to Fort Gael, go around the back to encounter two Fire Chariots. The incantation is located on a body against the wall, guarded by the two aforementioned enemies. You can just swoop in with your horse and leave, but the enemies will make it difficult with their AoE attacks.
The Chariots are quite mobile and will blanket the playing field with fire. All the damage over time can and will most likely knock you off your horse. It’s best to deal with them on foot. Since you are fighting two of them, try to bait one out at a time.
Be patient with their attacks until they charge at you. The backside where the driver is sitting is the weak spot. You won’t get anything special from killing them, but it makes getting the incantation a lot easier.
Should you die at any time between the Rotview Balcony and here, it may be difficult to retrieve your dropped runes. To make traveling between areas faster, there is a Site of Grace that is right below Fort Gael.
If you make your way toward the Gaol Cave, there is a Site of Grace that is just below the elevated area where Flame, Grant Me Strength is. It’s much more convenient to start here compared to the other place.
After exiting the Gaol Cave, you have to go around the cliffside up north and loop around past some enemies. Luckily, you can do this all on Torrent and ignore any mobs that can potentially kill you.
