Try not to be scared when I say the term “rep grind.” While a rep grind in World of Warcraft typically means days, weeks, and maybe months of work, such is not the case for the Domesticated Razorback.
In an incredibly rare exception, the rep grind to exalted necessary for acquiring this mount can be done in about an hour.
I’m staking my reputation on this pig
The faction in question selling the Domesticated Razorback is the Steamwheedle “Preservation” Society. These morally questionable individuals have three locations in the alternate timeline of Draenor: Warspear, Stormshield, and Nagrand. For the sake of convenience, we’re going to use the Nagrand vendor, Kwilax Fuseshiv.
The easiest way to gain Steamwheedle “Preservation” Society rep is to farm Gorian Artifact Fragments and Highmaul Relics. These are dropped from the various Elite ogres roaming the non-instanced version of Highmaul, just a short flight from the Steamwheedle camp.
At the time of this writing (tail end of Dragonflight), you should be so overpowered as to kill these ogres simply by sneezing on them. The grind isn’t difficult by any stretch of the imagination, but it is monotonous. As such, I recommend throwing on a show, podcast, or whatever in the background as you go about your genocide.
Once you’ve reached exalted, you’ll be able to purchase the mount for 4000 gold and 5000 Apexis Crystals. If you’re a longtime player, then odds are you’re sitting on a treasure trove of Apexis Crystals as they were the dedicated currency for Warlords of Draenor. If not, it’s no big deal as they can be nabbed from the Tanaan Jungle dailies for a thousand or so a piece.
