One thing that you’re going to need a lot of in Palworld is money. Gold is the currency of choice, and there are a few ways to get it, some more questionable than others. Here’s a few good ways of earning hoards of gold fast.
As you begin to explore the wider world of Palpagos, you’re going to encounter Merchants who have different items up for sale. Whether you’re looking for a shortcut to quickly get base resources or you want to buy Pals on the Black Market, you’re going to need gold.
You could, theoretically, sell your excess materials in order to earn this gold in a slightly less questionable way, but you don’t get much money for wool and Gumoss leaves. There are better ways, if you’re willing to sell a part of your soul in the process.
Sell your Pals on the Black Market
If you’re looking for EXP and level gains, you should already be capturing at least ten of every Pal anyway. Rather than keeping those Pals or saving them to use in the Pal Condenser, pick a favorite and sell the rest to the Pal Merchant in the Small Settlement.
Depending on which Pals you’ve caught and are selling, you can easily earn tens of thousands of Gold this way.
If you want to earn maximum Gold this way, focus on catching Relaxaurus’. They sell for 2000 Gold per Pal, so it’s an easy money maker.
Kill or capture some Maus
Usually found wandering around some of the lower level dungeons, Mau drop Gold when they’re killed or captured. There’s no set amount that can be dropped, but I’ve gained anything from 50 Gold to 200 Gold per kill.
If you couple this with the previous method and head straight to the Pal Trader to sell all of those captured Maus, you’ll quickly start seeing a boost to your money supply.
Utilize your ranch
If you’re looking for a more passive method for boosting your savings account, look no further than the Ranch which can be placed on your base.
There are two Pals who will provide Gold for as long as they’re situated within your Ranch – Mau and Vixy. Mau drops more gold, but Vixy comes with the added benefit of also dropping both Arrows and Pal Spheres.
Either way, every time you come back to your base, you’ll find Gold has been deposited within your storage (somewhere) by your transporting Pals.
Sell your precious treasures
Anything that has the term “can be sold to a Merchant for a high price” within its description is classed as a treasure. They’re not included in any recipes (at this time) and serve no other purpose.
Of course, like most seasoned gamers, I can’t help but hoard these items just in case, but I have sold a few of them in the name of science. To sell these treasures, head to the Small Settlement and speak to the Merchant.
Here’s a full list of all these items and what they sell for:
Treasure | Sale price |
Precious Dragon Stone | 1000 Gold |
Precious Entrails | 850 Gold |
Precious Pelt | 500 Gold |
Precious Claw | 650 Gold |
Precious Plume | 750 Gold |
Ruby | 500 Gold |
Sapphire | 750 Gold |
Diamond | 1250 Gold |
