Palworld dungeons are more than places to farm Ancient Civilization Parts. They also contain Alpha Pals worth fighting or capturing, depending on which ones you need for your team. But if you don’t get the want you want, fret not. Simply reset the Palworld dungeon boss with an easy strategy.
The dungeon boss reset strategy is becoming a more well-known trick in the Palworld community. I managed to spot a demonstration while looking up Palworld clips on TikTok (how do you do, fellow kids?). If you haven’t heard about the trick, or are looking for instructions, read on.
How to reset the Palworld dungeon boss with a trick
Those who have traversed the winding dungeons of Palworld know that pretty much everything in one is randomized. Everything. This means the layout will be different, as well as the enemy spawns. And that means all the enemy spawns. Clearing a room of enemies and returning to it later will also respawn the encounter. What was once a room cleared of syndicate thugs is now filled with Felbats, for example. Here’s how to do it with the boss.
When you find the boss room and it isn’t the Alpha Pal you want, turn around and leave. You will have to go through at least two room tiles, which are often separated by torches near the entrance/exit. After you go past two room entrances, turn back and enter the boss chamber again.
The Alpha Pal should be completely different.
The neat thing is, you can do this as often as you wish. While trying the trick for myself, I reset the dungeon boss until I got the Pal I wanted: A Loupmoon.
I tried the trick with multiple dungeons of various level requirements, and I can report that it worked in each instance. For those of you who are hunting for a certain Alpha Pal, the strategy will prove to be a real timesaver.
