One of your first potential ship upgrades coming into the full release of Skull and Bones after the beta is the Vanguard Snow ship. Like most of the ship builds, it can be a bit tricky to track down the blueprint for the ship.
Where to find the Vanguard Snow Ship Blueprint
There are actually two ways to acquire the Vanguard Snow Ship Blueprint in Skull and Bones. The quickest way costs some Silver, and the free method requires you to play through the Main Missions. You can purchase the Vanguard Snow Ship blueprint at the settlement outpost of Khmoy Estate. However, it requires Corsair I Infamy Rank or higher and costs 10,560 Silver. You can find Khmoy Estate in the East Indies, as shown by the circle area on the map above. If you have not yet been there, the fastest way there is to fast travel to Telok Penjarah and sail north.
While that’s the fastest way to get access to the blueprint, you can also save the over 10,000 Silver. If you continue to complete your Main Missions, you will eventually get a Nightfall Missives Contract from Admiral Rahma, the Kingpin at Telok Penjarah. Completing this contract rewards you with a Vanguard Snow Ship Blueprint.
How to build the Vanguard Snow
Regardless of how you acquired the blueprint, you can now head to a Shipwright at either Pirate Den to build the ship. You will once again need Corsair I Infamy Rank to build the Vanguard Snow, and the following materials:
- 12 Juniper Planks
- 12 Zinc Ingots
- 13 Ironwood Planks
- 12 Fine Abaka
- 12 Steel Ingots
- 2 Sheet Glass
- 2 Screw Mechanism
- 5,760 Silver
As long as you have all the above materials and the Vanguard Snow blueprint, you can build it at any Shipwright. The Vanguard Snow ship is a powerful Tank-role medium-sized ship, and definitely recommended for those who want to fill the tank role in combat.
