Grigoire is an entry into Unique farming and late-game grinding in Diablo 4. He’s the easiest boss to summon when it comes to gathering materials, but he also has more to offer. Here’s how to summon Grigoire in Diablo 4.
How to summon Grigoire in Diablo 4
To summon the Galvanic Saint, you will need to farm the Helltide events for Living Steel. Specifically, you want to gather as many Aberrant Cinders as possible and use them to open Tortured Gift chests while the Helltide is up. They’re marked as orange chests in the affected areas.
Chests cost either 250 or 275 Cinders to open. You’ll receive five Living Steel per chest that you open.
Whether you choose to open the Tortured Gift of Mysteries or of Living Steel, you’ll still earn the resources needed to summon Grigoire. You’ll only be able to start earning this once you reach World Tier 4.
To summon Grigoire, you will need two units of Living Steel in World Tier 3, or five in World Tier 4. In World Tier 3, he will be level 60, while in World Tier 4, he’ll be level 75. The level is set despite where you’re at in the game. Make sure you’re over-leveled or have a good enough build to take him on.
Tips to farm Helltide
It’s important to note that while farming for Living Steel, you should use a decent mobbing build that slightly focuses on bossing. You want to clear enemies out as fast as possible so you can rack up as many Aberrant Cinders before the Helltide recedes.
These events last for about an hour, so with a good enough build, you can earn enough Cinders to open an orange chest every 10 to 15 minutes. One or two chests reside in each section during a Helltide event. So, if you max out on the Tortured Gift chests, you can still open the normal ones and earn one per white chest.
