E3 09: Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 still exists, says this trailer

Now I know Ninja Gaiden 2 wasn’t exactly met with the warmest reception ever, but the game had dogs with swords in their mouths. What more do you people want!? Sure, the camera was a bit on the annoying side, the last boss was a total dickface, and there was an apparent lack of polish.

But even with those faults, it was worth the money (disclaimer: I bought it for $10). Now that the once-exclusive game is being released on the PlayStation 3 as Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, I’m jealous I don’t have the technology to erase my memory of playing the inferior version so I can play Sigma 2 on PS3 without getting bored.

As shown to us in the game’s E3 trailer, Team Ninja’s idea to add new enemies, weapons, and characters hasn’t been forgotten. It’s hard to tell if the in-game camera has been addressed without having a controller in my hand, but you can bet we are hoping for the absolute best.
