In order to craft some of the higher level items, such as Large Pal Bed or Pal Metal Armors, you’ll need to get your hands on some High Quality Cloth. Unfortunately, there are limited ways to do this, but it’s not too difficult once you know how.
High Quality Cloth is part of the recipe for the following items:
- Giga Glider
- Large Pal Bed
- Lily’s Spear
- Refined Metal Armor (including both Heat and Cold resistant varieties)
- Pal Metal Armor (including both Heat and Cold resistant varieties)
Which Pals drop High Quality Cloth?
The only way to get High Quality Cloth in the wild is by either capturing or killing Sibelyx. This Pal can be found in the Astral Mountains to the North, which is a level 35 – 50 area. If you’re hunting Sibelyx this way, you can take some high-level Fire type Pals with you to make short work of it.
You could also get lucky and hatch Sibelyx from a wild egg, as it’s a possible hatch from Large Frozen Eggs. Another option is potentially buying one from a Black Marketeer or Pal Merchant, but neither of these vendors is guaranteed to be carrying them.
If you’re really lucky, you might come across High Quality Cloth in a treasure chest on your adventures, but again, this is not guaranteed.
Using your Ranch for High Quality Cloth
Sibelyx is on the short list of Pals who can be placed into your Ranch in order to gain their drops. If you place Sibelyx into the Ranch, you’ll get periodic drops of High Quality Cloth that can then be used in crafting.
However, I’ve done this a few times in the past and my Sibelyx seems to hate being in the Ranch. In fact, she attempted to escape whenever she had the chance. That said, that may just be because I have a petulant Sibelyx; hopefully yours will be better behaved.
How to craft High Quality cloth
Once you reach level 36, you can unlock the recipe for High Quality Cloth via the Technology Ladder for 2 Technology Points. The recipe itself is very simple; you just need 10 Wool in order to make your own High Quality Cloth, and it can be crafted on the High Quality Workbench or either of the Production Assembly Lines.
