Nightingale has a ton of Realm Cards which affect the modifiers and parameters on the realm you create at a Portal Network. One of the first Realm Cards you unlock is an Abeyance Card, though the game doesn’t exactly tell you what it is. Here is everything you need to know about the Abeyance Card in Nightingale as well as how to get your hands on one.
What is an Abeyance Card in Nightingale?
An Abeyance Card in Nightingale dictates the difficulty and parameters of the Realm you create a Portal. In particular, the Abeyance Card will create a Realm of minimal danger that also allows you to build your own Estate via an Estate Cairn.
When you use an Abeyance Card as one of the Major Cards at a portal, the Realm you create will have a Realm Level of 10, which is the easiest Realm possible. This essentially means Realms generated with an Abeyance Card are beginner realms where you will start your adventure in Nightingale.
How to Craft an Abeyance Card
You can craft an Abeyance Card at a Simple Enchanter’s Focus which is one of many crafting tables in Nightingale. You can find the recipe for both the Simple Enchanter’s Focus and the Abeyance Card at the Abeyance Essence Trade found in any Abeyance Realm. He will sell you the recipe’s for 40 Essence Dust and 30 Essence Dust respectively.
Once you’ve built the Simple Enchanter’s Focus, you can craft an Abeyance Card with the following materials:
- 1 Paper
- 1 Ink
After you’ve crafted the Abeyance Card, you can now use it any and Portal to generate a new Realm of Realm Level 10. You’ll also need a biome Realm Card paired with the Abeyance Card. Once use, your Abeyance Card will be consumed, so you will have to create a new one if you wish to generate a new Abeyance Realm.
