Those interested in the opportunity to jump into the closed beta for Gigantic: Rampage Edition can do so by Requesting Access to the playtest on Steam. Simply visit the Gigantic: Rampage Edition Store Page on Steam and click the green button that says Request Access. According to Abstraction, while not everyone will be granted access, they do plan to add quite a few players to test out the game servers.

If you are selected to participate in the Gigantic: Rampage Edition closed beta you will receive an e-mail to your Steam account, and then be able to download and play the game.

The playtest begins at 12 p.m. PST on February 22 and lasts through February 23 at 9 p.m. PST. Even though it’s not long, it’s a great opportunity to try out the game ahead of its launch in April.

What is in the beta?

The closed beta for Gigantic: Rampage Edition includes all content including the new game mode Rush which is a fast-paced version of the game. Players can try out the new heroes as well as the new maps as part of this playtest.

Players can also check out the new progression system in Gigantic: Rampage Edition that allows players to unlock titles, cosmetics, skins, and more simply by playing the characters they love. While there is no Ranked play in the beta, a Ranked Mode is coming shortly after full launch to the Clash mode. Rush, however, will not be getting Ranked.

That is how to play Gigantic: Rampage Edition closed beta during the February playtest that is currently going on.
