In BitLife, special careers involving acting, music, and modeling can make you millions of dollars quickly. The game’s music industry is one of the best you can go for if you’re willing to put time, effort, and money into raising your fame. Here’s how to become a musician in BitLife.
How to become a musician in BitLife
To become a musician, you must first purchase and own its special career pack. You can buy it individually through the in-game marketplace for $6.99 or get Boss Mode for $19.99 to unlock all current and future job packs. Without this pack, you can’t become a famous musician outside of becoming a disk jockey. The pack comes with the musician job and special talent that helps you progress quickly.
Once you have the musician job pack, you’ll find it in your special careers section of the occupation menu once your character turns 18. After selecting it, you’re presented with two options: join a band or become a solo artist. If you’re completing a BitLife weekly challenge, you may have to pick a specific route to satisfy its objectives. Otherwise, it’s up to you, and both options have their perks.
However, record labels and bands won’t pick up any regular BitLife character. You’ll have to master your craft to prove your value by practicing instruments and taking singing lessons. You can access these by going into the activities menu, selecting Mind and Body, and picking either instruments or voice lessons. As you do this, your skills will increase, raising your odds of getting accepted by a record label. You can also start taking these lessons in your character’s childhood for free, while those taken in adulthood cost money.
After mastering an instrument or singing, head back to the special career menu and pick solo artist or band. Either way, choose your preferred career type and a label to audition. If accepted, you’ll find an in-game contract telling you your royalty percentage, duration, and music genre, among other information. Once you accept, you’ll become a musician in BitLife and unlock album production, concerts, and world tours.
