Starconch in Genshin Impact helps you level up your characters like Gaming and Tartaglia. Here’s where to find them; here’s a hint: you’ll hear some waves while doing this task.
Starconch Genshin Impact location
You’ll spot these shells all the way down from Dragonspine’s shores to Gunyun Stone Forest. Simply follow the beach to find the shells in the sand. There should be around 80 of them. Strangely, there are a few around Yaodie Valley north of Mt. Aocang.
While scouring for Starconch in Genshin Impact, look for blue and white striped shells. They have a yellow star in the center. I found a few standing next to a broken ship on the beach. Most are out in the open, however, easy to spot. You’ll want to look out for other resources like Slime Condensate for Gaming as well.
You’ll also find a few Whopperflowers on the shore to beat up to get their nectar, which also ascends certain characters.
What are Starconches used for?
Starconches ascend new Wushou dancing hero Gaming, Tartaglia, and Yelan. You’ll need the following amounts of Starconches to ascend Gaming:
- 1st – 3
- 2nd – 10
- 3rd – 20
- 4th – 30
- 5th – 45
- 6th – 60
Can you buy Starconches?
You can buy up to five Starconches every three days from Bolai. They’re located in the Wanyou Boutique in Liyue Harbor. As of the time of writing, however, the shopkeeper doesn’t seem to be there. It’s likely due to the Vibrant Harriers Aloft in Spring Breeze event. Hopefully, Bolai returns.
