Yae Miko changes

Yae Miko is a 5-star Electro Catalyst user in Genshin Impact who specializes in off-field DPS and Electro application. Here are the best weapons and artifacts to turn your Yae into a formidable kitsune warrior.

Weapons

Kagura’s Verity

Kagura’s Verity is Yae’s signature 5-star Catalyst. Its passive works well with her kit, but its overall performance generally isn’t too far above the other 5-star options below. Kagura’s Verity may be Yae’s best-in-slot weapon, but I don’t recommend pulling for it if you have any of the other weapons on this list.

Other 5-star Catalysts

A Thousand Floating Dreams, Cashflow Supervision, and Tome of the Eternal Flow all work great if you have them, though I only recommend A Thousand Floating Dreams in Dendro teams. Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds, Memory of Dust, and Skyward Atlas generally perform slightly worse, but are still potent stat sticks.

Solar Pearl / The Widsith

These are Yae’s 4-star options. Solar Pearl is exclusive to the Battle Pass, and you must remember to use a Normal Attack to activate its passive. The Widsith can be obtained through the gacha system. It can outperform some 5-star Catalysts in short bursts, but since the passive has poor uptime, you may experience spikes and valleys in Yae’s power level as you progress through a fight.

Artifact Sets

4pc Golden Troupe (4GT)

This is my generally recommended set for Yae in all teams. Since most of Yae’s damage comes from her Skill, the 4pc Golden Troupe set is fantastic for her. Yae will be off-field for most of your rotation, so you can count on the 4pc effect always being active. It comes from a very Resin-efficient domain, too, since many characters can be built with 4pc Marechausee Hunter.

4pc Emblem of Severed Fate (4EoSF)

Yae has a monstrously expensive 90-cost Burst. If you want her to be able to use her Burst every rotation, then you will need some Energy Recharge. And if you’re building Energy Recharge anyway, why not convert some of that into Burst damage? 4EoSF is a good option for Yae in teams where she receives significant buffs from teammates.

4pc Gilded Dreams (4GD)

Gilded Dreams works best when Yae is in Dendro teams. Depending on her teammates, this artifact set will give her a significant amount of Elemental Mastery that will buff her Aggravate damage. The artifact domain is also pretty Resin-efficient for Dendro teams, so there’s a good chance you’ll be farming this domain anyway for Yae’s teammates.

4pc Tenacity of the Millelith (4TotM) / 2pc combos

If all else fails, you can slap on a 4TotM set to grant teammates an ATK buff when Yae’s Skill deals damage. You can also mix and match 2pc sets that grant Electro DMG, ATK, Elemental Mastery, or Energy Recharge.

If you are only using Yae for her Skill, then you can ignore Energy Recharge and not use her Burst at all. If you want Yae to use her Burst every rotation, though, you will need a second Electro character and around 150-160% Energy Recharge.

Once energy needs are met, focus on CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG. In Dendro teams, prioritize Elemental Mastery above ATK. In teams without Dendro, ATK is more important than Elemental Mastery.
