When you first reach the Junon region in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you may stumble across a town on the eastern side called Crow’s Nest. Unfortunately, you’re not able to access Crow’s Nest immediately after reaching Junon. Here’s how to unlock the Crow’s Nest town in the Junon Region and gain access to the southeastern part of the region in FF7 Rebirth.
Unlocking Crow’s Nest in Junon
In order to unlock the Crow’s Nest in Junon, you must first advance the Chapter 4 Main Scenario to a certain point, and then complete a specific side quest.
First, head to Under Junon and advance the Main Scenario until you get the quest titled Priscilla’s Plan. This will unlock a couple of new side quests at the Under Junon Community Board including When Words Won’t Do. This side quest has you meeting with Rhonda in Under Junon before escorting her dog Salmon across the Junon region.
Completing this side quest will take you to Crow’s Nest in eastern Junon as well as unlock the settlement for you, allowing you to now enter at any time!
What is in Crow’s Nest?
There are a few reasons you’re going to want to unlock the Crow’s Nest. First off, it’s essentially a quest hub. Once unlocked, you will have access to a new Community Board with two new side quests, a couple of new Queen’s Blood players to challenge, a resting spot, and new vendors.
You’ll also be able to pass through Crow’s Nest into the southeastern part of the Junon region. This is very important because there are a few important points of interest as well as Chadley’ Intel spots that are inaccessible until you unlock the Crow’s Nest.
