Faith, Trust and Pixel Dust isn’t just Vanellope’s first quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, it’s also your gateway to multiplayer and acts as a tutorial of sorts for DreamSnaps, which can only be taken part in once she is unlocked and in your Valley.
After finding Vanellope glitching within the Castle, she’ll ask you to take a photo that meets the current requirements for DreamSnaps.
How does DreamSnaps work in Disney Dreamlight Valley
DreamSnaps is a competition of sorts for players to take part in, using their camera tool to take photos which include specified types of objects. It resets at 1PM UTC (GMT) every Wednesday, offering players the chance to enter again.
At the time of writing, the current challenge is called ‘Fur, Feathers and Scales’. This is an outfit challenge, requiring players to wear three cute-type items and three playful-type items in a photo inspired by their favorite pet in the Valley.
Anyone who submits a photo receives a minimum of 300 Moonstones and a random furniture or clothing item, while the top five voted participants will win up to 12,000 Moonstones. Voting also rewards players with 50 Moonstones.
How to complete Faith, Trust and Pixel Dust
Once you’ve taken and submitted your DreamSnaps photo, you’ll be able to return to the Castle and talk to Vanellope, who you’ll find at the top of the stairs near the fountain.
All that’s left to do now is place her house in the Valley, before moving on to her next quest, Valley Visits, which will enable you to play with friends in multiplayer mode.
