Back in January, we received the first glimpse of things to come in Palworld with the mini-roadmap, and now we’ve received news of the first new content to be added to the game — the Bellanoir raid.
Palworld players have been wondering when new content would be arriving, with recent patches being dedicated to bug fixes and optimization, but the wait is nearly over.
PocketPair announced the upcoming raid on Twitter and Discord, along with the following video:
From what we can see, this raid will be triggered by players playing something that looks very much like a Pal Soul on a plinth, triggering the appearance of Bellanoir.
All the info we have on Bellanoir
We don’t know much about Bellanoir, such as its type, attacks, or weaknesses, but just from its name and appearance (and this is only speculation), I’d guess that it’s likely to be a Dark x Fire type.
Also backing this theory is the fire and brimstone which falls from the sky when the plinth is activated. The player in the showcase video is accompanied by a range of Pals, so there aren’t any hints there.
According to two recently added achievements on Steam, there will also be a variant of Bellanoir, called Bellanoir Libero, although no images or information are currently available of this variant.
We also have no news as to when this raid will actually arrive in-game, as the only information from PocketPair on that point is that the raid is “coming soon”. That said, it’s unlikely that we’ll have long to wait and hopefully this new Pal will be coming to Palpagos sooner, rather than later.
With news of the Palworld Testing Program announced recently, as well, there are high hopes that more content is on the way and this is the first sign that Palworld players will soon have more to occupy their time, outside of the Breeding Farm.
