As is typical with most tournaments, the rankings fluctuate over time, so watch your ranking throughout the day. While you may be first place in the first hour, this can change drastically if a few players rack up points hours later. Try to get as many points as possible to maintain your first-place spot.

How to score points during Monopoly GO Race to the Top tournament

Monopoly GO’s Race to the Top tournament requires landing on railroad tiles to score points. Once you land on a railroad tile, you’ll start a landmark shutdown or bank heist tournament with several different outcomes, each determining the points you receive.

  • Shutdown – Blocked: Two points
  • Shutdown – Success: Four points
  • Bank Heist – Small: Four points
  • Bank Heist – Large: Six points
  • Bank Heist – Bankrupt: Eight points

Your final point count is also determined by your dice multipliers. While rolling one dice gives you between two and eight points, increasing this to a 50-time multiplier can reward you with upwards of 400 points. Similarly, if you use High Roller to raise this limit further, you can gain thousands of points if you have enough dice. Just watch your dice supply, as you can quickly go from hundreds to zero in the blink of an eye.
