What used to be called Red Pills and Blue Pills in Type Soul have had a bit of a rebranding. They’re now known as Red Elixir and Blue Elixir. The manner in which you find them and what they’re used for are the same (which we’ll get into), but it’s important to know that they’re called something different. Regardless, you’ll find the information on how to get them and how to use them here.
How to get and use Red Elixirs
Red Elixirs are very straightforward, and also extremely useful. In short, they simply add 5 skill points to your character that you can then allocate. If you can get your hands on them, it’s a pretty sweet extra boost.
In terms of getting them, the most reliable way is spending Robux. However, Red Elixirs can rarely be seen available for purchase in the Karakura Town shop for 8000 Kan. You access this after a successful Karakura Raid. Just keep in mind that this is in no way guaranteed.
Like any item, you use the Red Elixir by equipping it to a quick key, pressing it to bring it out, and then hitting the action button.
I’m going to mention this in the section ahead, but if you use a Blue Elixir, it will eliminate stats gained from the Red Elixir.
How to get and use Blue Elixirs
Blue Elixirs are how you reset your skills in Type Soul. If you need to completely start over from scratch and reallocate your points, a Blue Elixir is what you need. One very important thing to note: This will eliminate all the skill points you earned from red elixirs, and it will also remove your skill boxes. Those are some pretty big caveats.
To get Blue Elixirs, you’ll need to run Karakura Raids. They have a very small chance to drop after successfully completing one. After completing a Karakura raid, occasionally, there will be one available in the town shop for 150,000 Kan. However, all this comes down to chance. Your best bet would be to get one from a provided code. While there isn’t a code currently that will gift you with a Blue Elixir at the time of writing, you can keep an eye on our codes list for when one might come up.
