This ability will also help you on the pathway to Shikai, which has its own exclusive keybinds. Bankai, another form that harnesses robust movesets, also includes designated buttons for its technique.
Even if you have the Purify Soul technique, it can only be performed on Lost Souls in Karakura Town. The ability increases Soul Reaper ranks the more people you help. However, keep in mind that some interactions won’t be accessible to specific races. For example, Hollow and Quincy cannot perform Purify Soul.
If you’re exploring Soul Society, hit the comma button to see map icons:
The map icons lead players to various Divisions, which you’ll need to join during the beginning stages.
Type Soul custom keybinds
To customize keybinds in Type Soul, select the ‘Key’ icon, which is located at the top-left corner of the screen. A prompt to change controls will appear on the right, and you can adjust it to your preferred specs.
You can only change controls for the abilities hotbar and Shikai/Bankai movesets. Therefore, the rest of the keybinds, such as movement and camera controls, cannot be altered.
