After completing the New Neighbours task, Handshake will send you north to Hunter’s Paradise for a task called True Grit. It’s recommended you do this task alongside Gunny’s Guns & Ammo task as they are both available at the same time and in the same area. Here is how to complete the True Grit task in Gray Zone Warfare and where you can find the Antique Revolver.
Where to find the Antique Revolver
You can complete the True Grit task for Handshake by obtaining the Antique Revolver from Motel Room 102 in Hunter’s Paradise. Catch a chopper from base camp to the Foxtrot 1 LZ and start heading west. Even though the task description mentions the Shooting Lanes, this entire task is completed in the Motel area so head there. The room in which the Antique Revolver you need is locked, so you will have to find a key. The key you need is the Hunter’s Paradise Motel Room 102 Key which is labeled HP 102.
Continue killing AI enemies around the Motel and other Hunter’s Paradise areas and looting their bodies until you find the HP 102 Key. Just be careful as this is a highly contested area, and the other factions will surely be around as well. Once you have the Motel Room 102 Key, head to the actual Motel and go to the second room from the right. Inside the Motel room, look at the nightstand beside the bed which should have a brown case on it labeled Case with a Revolver. This is the Antique Revolver you need to complete the True Grit task, so grab it. It requires an empty 2×2 inventory slot, so plan accordingly.
How to complete True Grit task
The True Grit task is completed once you have obtained the Antique Revolver from Motel room 102 and safely returned to base camp. If you die before making it back to base camp, you will lose the Antique Revolver and have to abandon and retry the task from the beginning.
Head to the Foxtrot 1 LZ and extract back to base camp. Once there, hit the Tab key to open your UI and go to Vendors then Handshake. Click the tasks tab and click the yellow button in the bottom right to hand over the Antique Revolver to Handshake and complete the True Grit task. He’ll reward you with the following items:
