As if Destiny 2 players didn’t have enough of a reason to log in right now, Bungie is enticing the lot of us with guaranteed daily Deepsight Weapons. If you’ve been putting off the grind or only have a few red borders left to collect, now is the time to do so.
From now until the release of The Final Shape on June 4, 2024, the first completion of a Seasonal Activity will award a red border weapon. This counts across each of the previous four Seasons, allowing for a maximum of four red borders a day, if players haven’t completed a Season’s arsenal. Players can still purchase their guaranteed weekly Deepsight Weapon from each Seasonal vendor on the H.E.L.M. (so long as they’ve unlocked that perk), which then raises the potential maximum of red borders to 32 a week.
Players need to collect and dismantle (5) Deepsight Weapons to unlock the crafting pattern. Depending on how often you play, your luck, and what vendor upgrades you’ve unlocked, this process could take days to months to complete. Now, you could potentially craft six weapons in a week. With less than a month left before The Final Shape, there’s now plenty of time to beef up your arsenal.
