Upon starting The Final Shape, you’ll be prompted with a choice between two modes. To help with this decision, we’ll explain what Legend and Normal modes are in Destiny 2: The Final Shape.
Destiny 2: The Final Shape modes, explained
After launching The Final Shape main campaign, you’ll have two choices: ‘Be Brave’ or ‘Be Legend’. Brave (Destiny 2 Normal campaign) is designed for any type of player, whether you are a beginner or prefer solo runs. It can also be played with friends if your group wants something a bit more casual. Having played this version myself, it’s still challenging to do, especially with solo missions.
However, those who want a challenge and bonus rewards should opt for Legendary mode. Missions will be much more difficult than Brave mode, upping the ante with an enemy’s performance. It’s best to choose this mode if you are an experienced player. You may have seen something similar to this with Lightfall’s Legendary mode, which also increases difficulty.
Once you conquer all the missions in the Legendary campaign, a sense of triumph awaits you as you earn an Exotic Armor and Gear Bundle (1960 Power). In addition to this, the Tessalation Exotic Fusion Rifle will be given to users who pre-ordered Destiny 2: The Final Shape.
Both modes offer the same main campaign storyline, starting with the Transmigration mission. What’s more, you have the power to alter the difficulty at any time, tailoring the game to your skill level and preferences. And if you’re up for a challenge, completed campaign missions can be replayed with a higher difficulty, allowing you to push your limits and reap greater rewards.
