When I woke up this morning, I certainly did not predict that I’d be writing about Toejam & Earl, but here we are. The Sega Genesis game that never gets mentioned except by five people is coming to XBLA as one of Sega’s ever-popular rehashes of old stuff.
Despite its cult status, Toejam & Earl never seems to appear on Sega’s many Genesis compilations, often overlooked by the publisher. Now it finally gets its time to shine, with the game winning a poll to determine which classic Sega title should get released on XBLA next. So far there’s been no mention of a PSN release, but I’m sure it’s coming.
Methinks Sega will be showing this duo a little more respect in future now that the fans have spoken.
