Where to find Moonrithyll’s Knight Sword

You can find Moonrithyll’s Knight Sword by defeating Moonrithyll, Carian Knight who can be found in Castle Ensis located in the northeast area of the Gravesite Plain zone. Start at the Castle Ensis Checkpoint Site of Grace to quickly get to Moonrithyll’s Knight Sword. If you have already opened the gate immediately near the Site of Grace, go through it. But, if not, head to the right of the gate and take out the knight sitting on the ledge holding a torch. Drop down the small hole where you will encounter three Decaying Dogs. Take them out and head through the small passage to the southeast.

Through this passage, you will see a waterfall to your left. Carefully jump up the rocks jutting out of the waterfall then run straight ahead up the stream that feeds into the waterfall. After going under the bridge, look to your left for a ladder and climb up it. As you enter the room at the top, be careful of a Commoner enemy immediately to your left, and a spear-wielding knight ahead to your right. Defeat them both and head out of the room via the only exit to the Southwest.

Straight ahead you will see a room with a wooden contraption and a lever on it. Push this lever to open the gate we talked about previously, and you will have a shortcut back to the Castle Ensis Checkpoint Site of Grace. Head up the stairs and you will encounter four knights at the top. Be careful as they can switch to their crossbows, so you’ll have to dodge their ranged attacks while taking them out one by one. Proceed southeast and a hidden Decaying Dog will attack you from the right. Continue southwest and two Sorcerers will be shooting Magic Missiles at you. Take out the one straight ahead then look to the right for one up on the lead that you will need to take out with ranged attacks.

From here, head up the stairs, and immediately to your left is Moonrithyll, Carian Knight. Getting close enough will immediately cause her to aggro onto you and start the encounter. Be careful when she summons 2 or 3 Magical Swords beside her, as the exact timing of her sending them at you is a bit random. Just keep a look out and dodge forward through them as they fly at you.

Defeat Moonrithyll, Carian Knight and you will get her sword, Moonrithyll’s Knight Sword!

Moonrithyll Knight Sword stats and requirements

Moonrithyll’s Knight Sword is intended for players who want a beefy powerful Greatsword but also like to dabble in magic. It comes equipped with the Unique Skill Tremendous Phalanx, which is the skill that summons Magic Swords like the encounter against Moonrithyll herself.

Tremendous Phalanx creates a defensive arch of enormous magic glintblades overhead, which automatically attack nearby foes. Follow up with a strong attack to chain this skill into a lunging thrust.
