What is Lucky Chance in Monopoly GO?

The Lucky Chance flash event or power-up in Monopoly GO buffs the usual Chance tile, giving it more powerful effects. It improves almost every aspect, giving you more cash, dice, and even free rolls, depending on the card you reveal. Below are some specific examples you might find:

  • Receive free dice rolls
  • Advance to the nearest railroad and perform a bank heist
  • Collect seven dice (scales with your dice multiplier)
  • Collect cash

Typically, the options you get from normal Chance tiles are being sent to the nearest railroad, gaining three dice that scale with your multiplier, or a small amount of cash. Lucky Chance considerably boosts all of these outcomes, with the bank heist and free dice roll outcomes particularly helpful. You can also combine these with other power-ups, such as Mega Heist and High Roller, to obtain massive dice gains, cash, and tournament progress.

How often does Lucky Chance appear in Monopoly GO?

Since Lucky Chance was just introduced in the Monopoly Games update as a quick flash event, there’s no way to tell exactly when it’ll appear. However, similar events like Builder’s Bash and Wheel Boost typically appear several times a week, with others appearing once a day.

With that in mind, we can anticipate it reappearing frequently; it is only a matter of what time of day it occurs, as most events start at random times. One day, it may begin in the morning of your timezone, only for it to start again two days later at night. Watch your sidebar each time you log into Monopoly GO, as it could appear at any moment while you’re playing.
