We know a new Red Faction title is on the way, but now we know it could potentially focus on the series’ beginnings… or its end.
Two domains have been registered by THQ earlier this year — redfactionarmageddon.com and redfactionorigins.com. Actually, five domains were registered, three additional domains with “alternate spellings” — “origin,” “armagedon,” and “armegeddon.” Nice one, THQ. Wouldn’t want someone snapping those up and putting “destruction porn” ads all over it. (That’s a thing, right?)
The next Red Faction game may be revealed at this year’s E3; whether it has the words “origin” or “armageddon” in the title remains to be seen.
