Clear your schedule for Tuesday, September 21 — that’s the day you’ll finally get a chance to see Irrational Games’ BioShock Infinite in action.
The footage will make its debut on Xbox LIVE and Xbox.com that day, and “September 22 elsewhere online.” Not sure what that last bit really means, since “elsewhere online” will have already probably run the footage via those other two sources. I mean, that’s our plan — we’ll let you know as soon as it’s available to see, and point you in the right direction.
Samit is the only Destructoid staff member who has seen the game in action. He attended the grand unveiling in New York City not long ago, and then previewed the crap out of the game. From what he says, the game’s city-in-the-sky, Columbia, is as impressive (if not more so) in real time as the CG trailer you’ve likely already seen.
BioShock Infinite is set for a 2012 release for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
