The Gearbox doctors slapped a band-aid on the festering stat wiping wound in the Xbox 360 version of RPS Borderlands this afternoon. But that wasn’t all these digital meat magicians tweaked — official release says Achievements now unlock, auto-aim now disables correctly, Lillith’s “Silent Resolve” is now functional …
… and much more that we can’t list for the sake of sanity on the front page. Check below the fold for the full patch notes.
We should note that this patch is headed to the PS3 in the future — “arriving soon,” to be somewhat exact, according to the release this afternoon. We should also note that a few of these fixes, squashes and tweaks should work retroactively. If you earned an Achievement, you’ll get it. If you had your stats wiped, they’ll return. But that bond you developed with Lillith before you learned that a man provided the mo-cap for her? No. No, that won’t come back.
