If you log in to Twitter and see a bunch of Tweets saying “Just bought Indigo Prophecy,” as I did this evening, there’s a very good reason. It’s because the thing costs $3.39 on Steam right now. With Christmas around the corner, Valve has announced a Steam sale that I would be tempted to call stupid, it’s so full of neat stuff.
Indigo Prophecy is but one of the many games going for silly prices right now, and I highly recommend the purchase to anybody yet to play Quantic Dream’s last big game. If you’re a user of Valve’s digital service, you really need to make a point of checking it out. Don’t worry, Destructoid will still be here when you get back. If you get back.
The Steam Holiday Sale is on now through Sunday, January 3, 2010. This year’s sale has begun earlier than years past so gamers can save big on last-minute shopping via Steam’s Gifting functionality. Gamers can save up to 80% on select titles, with daily and week-long specials running during the promotion.
Steam is a leading platform for the delivery and management of PC games with over 20 million accounts worldwide and over 1,000 games. For more information, please visit www.steamgames.com
