Some new Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim screens have shown up, and these ones actually show something besides mountains and iTunes-inspired menu systems. The French video game site Jeux Video Network uncovered a nice haul of them. Some new, some old. Go look for yourself.
No, seriously. You need to see these. There’s the guy about to fight the Squidbear, as shown above, but also some castles, a fair maiden in a tight-fitting bodice, and what appears to be a friggin’ Wampa.
According to my two years of public school French class (IE, how to use online translators) you play as Dovakhin, descendant of the Dragon, and you’re awaiting the arrival of Alduin, which — I might be reading this wrong — is a kind of pork sausage. Or possibly a dragon.
Anyway, check out these screens, because they’re friggin’ epic. It would probably be in your best interest to blast some Sonata Arctica while looking at them.
