Following the Resistance 3 multiplayer details we posted earlier, Sony has squirted a hot new trailer onto the ‘net for our sordid amusement. It’s pretty beefy at over five minutes, so make sure you’ve got some spare time.
The footage looks a little sterile, but I am assuming that’s because the match seems to be two-on-two. What I really adore, however, is the fact that you get points for way more than simply killing enemies. The game seems designed to reward smart players as well as gung-ho ones, which is what I really want to see more of in my online shooters.
Speaking as a guy who tends to rock tactician/medical roles in games, I’m hoping to see Insomniac do a lot more support incentives in Resistance 3. I’m excited to see what they have coming up.
