So, Sagat is in Street Fighter X Tekken. By rights, I should be happier about this. Not only is Sagat one of my favorite people, but the inherent hilarity derived from teaming him with Tekken‘s Bob is in itself worth its weight in comedy gold. Yet, I’m left somewhat cold by this announcement. Like the tease of Cammy’s legs in the game from a week or so back, Sagat’s inclusion in Street Fighter X Tekken just feels sort of obvious. It’s like getting cheese on that cheeseburger you ordered. It’s good, and if it was missing you might be pissed off, but is it worth getting excited about?
I guess that depends on how good the cheese is. Hopefully I’ll find out myself in a few weeks at E3.
