Sony has officially announced inFAMOUS 2, the sequel to last year’s PS3-exclusive lightning-chucker, by way of a hot new Game Informer cover. It looks like they’re going for quite a few stylistic changes as well.
As well as new powers and an all-new enemy, it seems that Cole MacGrath has had a makeover since last we saw him. Sporting a douchebag beard and a fresh sense of fashion, our electrified superhero has made quite a few updates to his appearance over the past year. We have no idea yet if this means the game itself will be a drastic change of pace, but that’s the information Game Informer is holding close to its chest until the July issue hits newsstands.
inFAMOUS 2‘s announcement is no surprise, but I am shocked it was revealed before E3. Sony’s really pulling no punches in the run-up to the year’s biggest gaming event, but it makes one wonder exactly what surprises the company has left. Nevertheless, inFAMOUS 2 is now officially a thing. Excited?
