So…the Nintendo 3DS. Biggest news of the Nintendo presser, perhaps even the biggest news of E3.
But what about the games? We know that the big N has some of the strongest first-party brands anyone could ask for, but it seems that the 3DS is going to have a full slate of real heavy third-party support.
Expect some really huge games on the platform, including a Metal Gear title from Konami, a Kingdom Hearts game from Square Enix, music titles from Activision, something from Harmonix, an Assassin’s Creed game from Ubisoft, and even an all-new Resident Evil game from Capcom.
Hell, even THQ was listed as a publisher, right alongside a Saints Row logo.
This little portable looks to be going off big.
[Update: Nintendo has sent out a massive list of upcoming 3DS games, and boy, there are some big names on here. First-party highlights include Animal Crossing, Nintendogs + cats, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Mario Kart, something called PilotWings Resort, and Star Fox 64 3D.
On the third-party side, we’ve got stuff like: DJ Hero 3D from Activision; a Persona game from Atlus; Resident Evil Revelations and Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition from Capcom; Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D from Konami; a Sonic game from Sega; and a Batman game from Warner Bros. Hit the jump for the full list.]
