On December 16, Civilization V will get its next batch of paid downloadable content: Spain (Isabella), Inca (Pachacuti), and a new scenario, all bundled together for $7.49.
The scenario is a 1492 “voyage across the Atlantic in search of a western route to China and the Indies.” Theoretically, you can queue up “A Whole New World” from Aladdin to blast through your speakers and energize you across your treacherous journey. The in-game music is fine too, I guess.
I always enjoy covering these games, because it A) forces me to remember learning about history in school and the once-suppressed memories that follow, and B) sends me on a spiraling Wikipedia journey that ends with me reading about something gross.
