D3’s Monster Hunter-killer Gods Eater Burst, as annoyingly renamed as it is, is looking good, especially for player who feel that the people killing big monsters with big weapons should have better hair as they do it.
Now a new English-language trailer is extolling the game’s virtues, including the unique “God Arc” transforming weapon (why don’t they call it “Gods Arc”?), and the interesting multiplayer “avatar exchange”, where players can exchange data and manifest it as NPC party members when playing offline. I wonder if low-level players can pick up the data of high-level ones and then use them as overpowered NPCs to make the game easier.
Fans of the typically silly tone of Monster Hunter shouldn’t worry too much about Gods Eater being overly JRPG-serious. That teddy bear outfit looks like it’ll take care of that.
