For undisclosed reasons, Gotham City Impostors won’t make its release next week as expected. Monolith Productions and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment moved this Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and PC game back to February.
Having played the beta and run up against technical issues, this decision is probably for the best — nothing kills a multiplayer community quite like a botched launch.
To its credit, Impostors was a decent amount of fun when it worked properly. I still struggle over how peculiar the game is (especially the character designs), but maybe that will pass come next month.
