Don’t expect to transfer your characters from PC
As fans had begun to speculate based on sweeping changes made to Marvel Heroes in recent months, Gazillion is bringing the free-to-play action-RPG over to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this year.
This new version, Marvel Heroes Omega, won’t be up to date with the PC game’s content, though the company says “regular additions and updates” are planned. As a result, you won’t be able to play across platforms or, arguably worse yet, transfer your existing progress or characters to consoles.
Omega will launch with a nine-chapter story campaign and a few other modes, like Operations, Midtown Patrol, and Danger Room, as well as Legendary Missions and trials for loot seekers.
As for the playable roster, “38 Heroes will be available at launch, including Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Storm, Deadpool, and more! Players can also collect hundreds of costumes and Heroes from their favorite Marvel Teams, including the X-Men, Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and more. Iron Fist and War Machine will be exclusive to the Founder’s Pack for a 6-month period.”
