Streaming out of Berlin next weekend
The developer behind Styx, Blood Bowl, and Call of Cthulhu has stepped into a world of darkness, and I’m hoping for the best. Cyanide is currently adapting the time-honored role-playing game Werewolf: The Apocalypse into a new video game for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One called Earthblood.
That long-winded title might sound tricky to appreciate if you’re not into all things White Wolf, but clear your mind: this is an action-RPG starring a banished werewolf on a “bloody quest for redemption” in the midst of a Great War. You don’t need to know all the finer points to appreciate a good werewolf game.
We haven’t seen much of Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood, and that doesn’t change today with this six-second teaser footage. The full reveal is scheduled for next week at PDXCon 2019 in Berlin.
Cyanide will have a lot more to share on Saturday, October 19, including a keynote speech from Earthblood director Julien Desourteaux and a full game trailer. Depending on your time zone, you’ll be able to watch along live on the Paradox Interactive’s Twitch channel. It’ll be a busy weekend.
As someone who has touched Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines and nothing else, I’m curious.
