Developer Survios debuted the first gameplay trailer for Alien: Rogue Incursion during today’s PlayStation State of Play. The VR single-player action-horror game focuses on an all-new storyline in the Alien universe as they try to survive an encounter with the “Perfect Organism” in VR.
Built in Unreal Engine 5, Alien: Rogue Incursion utilizes the power of VR to drop players into an intense action-horror environment as they try to survive and outsmart the Alien with shooter-style gameplya and mechanics as they explore an Alien-infested facility on the harsh planet of Purdan.
Alien: Isolation is still one of my favorite horror titles of all time, so if Rogue Incursion can manage to channel even a fraction of that I’ll be happy. Besides, Isolationfelt like a perect transition into VR so this could very well be a perfect match.
Alien: Rogue Incursion is set to release this Holiday 2024 on PlayStation VR2, PCVR via Steam, and Meta Quest 3.
