The newest installment of the Call of Duty series, Modern Warfare 3, has launched its campaign early for Vault Edition owners. So, how many missions are there in the latest Call of Duty?
The third entry of the rebooted Modern Warfare subseries of Call of Duty games, Modern Warfare 3 continues where Modern Warfare 2 ended. An illusive new threat, Makarov, has made his move. It’s up to Task Force 141, led by Captain Price, to stop him before it’s too late.
In total, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 clocks in with 15 main missions. This is on par with previous entries in the franchise. For context, 2022’s Modern Warfare 2 had 17 missions, and 2019’s Modern Warfare had 14. Here are the missions:
Mission List
- Operation 627
- Precious Cargo
- Reactor
- Payload
- Deep Cover
- Passenger
- Crash Site
- Flashpoint
- Oligarch
- Highrise
- Frozen Tundra
- Gora Dam
- Danger Close
- Trojan Horse
- Countdown
The length of the game is around four to five hours. This is a bit short compared to other entries, which tend to go to at least seven. However, there are collectibles to get within the missions if you choose to pursue them, so that can add an hour or two. Also, the playthrough can take longer depending on the chosen difficulty, as easier ones will take less time and harder ones will be more lengthier. For those who play multiplayer, there are many rewards you can get from playing the campaign, such as Double XP, Operators, Calling Cards, and even a Blueprint.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 launches on November 10, 2023. Players who bought the Vault Edition can access the campaign now. Multiplayer and zombies are available to play November 9 at 10 pm PT, with preloads allowed starting November 8 at 10 pm PT.
