Persona 3 Reload has many Social Links you can unlock, though some take some legwork to get started. Such is the case with Nozomi Suemitsu, a gourmand who appears in the Paulownia Mall after you get a tip about him from Kenji Tomochika. That said, not only do you need enough Charm to talk to him, you need to complete a food-related quiz.
Suemitsu will ask you three questions in total. If you get any question wrong, he won’t feel like talking to you anymore, and you’ll need to try his quiz again on another day. Fortunately, if you feel stuck on any of his questions, selecting the “I need to prep…” option will hold your place in the quiz without failing it. So, if you want to double check what coffee the cafe serves, you can do that. That said, if you just want to cut to the chase, you’ll find the answers to each question below:
1: What’s the most popular drink at the cafe over there?
Answer: Pheromone Coffee
2: What color skirt does Azuku Arai’s mascot, Azuku-Chan wear?
Answer: Red
3: What item is on the secret menu at Hagakure?
Answer: Hagakure Bowl
What is the mysterious food the chubby student wants?
After you finish the quiz, your quiz-giver will then ask for a food that’s unlike anything he’s ever tasted. As you might expect from that description, what he’s looking for is something not of this world. For example, a food you might find during the Dark Hour.
To complete this objective, you’ll need to give him an Odd Morsel. There’s a good chance you’ll have one of these in your inventory by default. But if not, you’ll want to revisit the Thebel block in Tartarus, which spans floors 2 through 21. This should appear in treasure chests.
After this is over, you should have the prompt to spend time with Suemitsu, which will advance your day and begin his Social Link. Congratulations!
