Differences between Red, Blue, and Black Hinox in TotK
The main difference between Red, Blue, and Black Hinox in TotK is their difficulty. Red are the easiest to take down, black is the hardest, and blue is somewhere in between. The harder they are, the more health they have, and the stronger their hits.
While the strategy to take them down is always the same (aim for the eyeball), harder Hinox will wear additional armor, such as greaves. The Greaves that Blue Hinox wear can be burnt away, but for the Black Hinox, they wear metal greaves that you can’t get rid of. Either way, your best bet is to knock them down with an arrow to the eye, then attack them while they’re down. They aren’t wearing butt armor, so nothing will get in your way.
How many Hinox are there in Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)?
