When you first set foot in the world of Tarisland and begin to shape your character, you’ll encounter various categories, from classes to specializations. However, one crucial aspect that might not be immediately apparent is the choice of race. So, if you’re eager to gain a deeper understanding, we’re here to illuminate the diverse races in Tarisland.
What races are available in Tarisland?
Various classes already have a default race set to their build. Based on the character profiles section on the game’s official website, the following races are available to play in Tarisland:
- Elf
- Human
- Snow Lion
Humans are a reasonably common race in MMORPGs, so seeing it in Tarisland is no surprise. Classes like Warrior are linked to this race, mastering the talents of a sword and shield. Phantom Necros are also a part of this category, as mortals with a “mysterious power.”
Then, there are the Elves, a race with a rich history. They hail from the now-destroyed planet Veylu, and their journey has led them to Taris. Unlike Humans, who draw their spells from magic books, Elf Mages have a unique ability to harness elemental powers, allowing them to control the environment.
Snow Lion is the last Tarisland race, and it only includes one playable character from the Barbarian Fighter class. They are known as an “ancient species” from the ice plains. Similar to the Elves, Snow Lions are quite knowledgeable, but they are also highly skilled in warfare. Due to their beast nature, they are one of the best to use for combat with their high damage rates.
If you’re trying to figure out the best race to use in Tarisland, there isn’t precisely one suitable choice. The decision mainly concerns classes, as this is the game’s most stand-out feature. For this, check out our Tarisland class tier guide to fit the needs of your unique playstyle.
