Digital

If you pre-orderĀ Octopath Traveler 2 digitally on any platform, you’ll have access to the “Travel Provisions” pack. This is a set of consumable items that will be unlocked from the start of the game. Per store listings, the consumables are as follows:

  • Healing Grape (M) x 5
  • Inspiriting Plum (M) x 5
  • Revitalizing Jam x 2
  • Gold Dust (can be sold for 5,000 leaves in game) x 1

This bonus is consistent across all digital versions of the game. Whether you buy it on the Nintendo eShop, the PlayStation Store, or Steam, you’ll get your Travel Provisions.

Best Buy

If you choose to pre-order from Best Buy, you’ll get your hands on one of the store’s popular SteelBook cases. Best Buy’s pre-order bonus SteelBooks are known to go in and out of stock, so if that’s something you’re interested in, you might want to go for it.

Square Enix

If you buy straight from the Square Enix store, you can buy the Collector’s Edition Set. This retails at $179.99 and comes with a plethora of collector’s items like an art book, a soundtrack CD, and a set of eight busts representing the eight protagonists of the game. The Square Enix store is notorious for its limited stock, so you should act fast if you’re interested.

There are no bonuses for pre-ordering the Standard Edition of the game from Square Enix.

Stores without bonuses

Not every retailer is doling out special rewards for pre-ordering. You won’t get a pre-order bonus of any kind from GameStop, Amazon, Target, or Walmart. If you’re looking for a few extra goodies, you’ll do better at other retailers.
