Reviews missing in action
Releasing tomorrow (and the day after that on consoles in Europe), Dying Light is Techland’s latest foray into the totally lacking field of zombie games. We’re listing all the deals we’ve found thus far, including some for the console bros as well.
While the “Be the Zombie” mode was initially supposed to be a pre-order bonus freebie (which would have been sold later on as DLC), after considerate, quiet, and respectful dissent from the gaming community, Techland opted to provide the invasion mode free to all users.
Including a finished feature as part of a game instead of making it DLC? That’s crazy talk. The replacement pre-order bonus is extra weapon dockets – more details can be found here. Reviews as previously mentioned is forthcoming. Hmm. Missing reviews before launch? Surely a sign of great things to come.

- Dying Light at GamesPlanet (Steam Key) — £31.99
- Dying Light at Best Buy (PC DVD) — $49.99 + $10 Rewards
Update 2/8: Now that the game has been released, we’ve updated the latest prices above.
Note: Pre-load is now live for the game, and as far as we know, GMG and DLGamer are both sending out keys immediately upon purchase so you can begin pre-loading right away.
The physical PC DVD actually has a lower MSRP, making Best Buy’s deal technically the best value overall (especially if you have the Gamers Club Unlock membership).

- Dying Light Xbox One at Best Buy — $59.99 + $10 Best Buy Rewards
