Amazon Fire TV Gaming Edition comes with Shovel Knight

And a proper gamepad

There’s a new game-centric Fire TV bundle on the way and it sports a familiar controller.

The Amazon Fire TV Gaming Edition packs in Shovel Knight, DuckTales: Remastered, a 32GB microSD card, and a wireless gamepad for $139.99 — a touch under the revamped Apple TV. Both streaming devices will be available next month, with the former releasing October 5, 2015.

This year, the Fire TV has “75% more processing power, expandable microSD storage, 2x GPU performance, and more games than any other streaming media player,” according to Amazon. It also has 2GB of built-in storage and supports streaming up to 4K Ultra HD. 1080p is fine, too!

I’m not in the market for any of these things, but it’s oddly enjoyable to see the competition heat up. As far as pack-ins go, you could do a lot worse than Shovel Knight and DuckTales.
