What would you name an Android-based tablet with game controls that rips the PlayStation Vita’s design? Surely not “Droid X360,” right?
This Android 4.0 little tablet in a Vita-like case has that silly name etched on the bottom of its screen. Eurogamer says that it has a 1GHz CPU, 512MB system ram and a Mali-400 graphics core — hardly Vita-level power. But it does feature a 5-inch touch screen and front and rear cameras, and even ups the Vita with its HDMI out port. And the price isn’t bad at $115.
But, it’s still a cheap Chinese Android device trying to look like a Vita. That may be enough for some, especially seeing as how it comes preloaded with NES, Master System, N64 and other emulators. It seems to do a nice job with the emulation in this YouTube video.
As you could imagine, Sony boss Shuhei Yoshida got a kick out of it on Twitter.
