Those of you who bear an irrational, unjustified hatred for Rovio’s Angry Birds can breathe a sigh of relief. Contrary to last week’s report, Angry Birds has not become the more popular PlayStation Network game. PHEW, THANK GOD FOR THAT!
The wires were crossed thanks to an erroneous statement by Lazard Capital Markets analysts. What they meant to say was that Angry Birds was the most downloaded PSN title throughout January and February 2011. It’s not the most successful of all time, so don’t worry your pretty little head about it.
Seriously, I don’t quite get how Angry Birds‘ success would have affected anybody reading this, but whatever. I guess this is … good news or something?
